Strong Core

In fitness, it is important to strengthen the core of your body, since it carries the weight of the body. Not only so, but a strong core helps a person avoid injuries. Extremities are attached to the core. It makes sense to give priority to a strong core as the foundation of a stronger body. It is no different with the core of human existence: the spirit.

A strong spiritual core holds together your mind, your thoughts, your mental health, your ideas and intentions. It is a strong spiritual core that keeps a delightful balance in your emotions to adorn the human experience. Do not undermine the importance of a strong spiritual core and how it keeps a healthy and enjoyable body. A strong spiritual core allows your physical activities to flow in sync instead of becoming a struggle and a constant battle.

You are mentally, emotionally, and physically stronger if you are spiritually strong. Moreover, beyond the individual interaction of the spirit with the other parts, a strong spiritual core allows for all the parts to work together, help each other and maintain a perfect balance. Think of this as a four-legged table. Each leg is one of these factors: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. In the uneven reality of your daily life, you have the challenge to balance that table so it can hold the pressure of what you and others put on it. All the legs must play a role.

I give thanks to God for the grace in Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit He makes dwell in us when we believe in His only Son. His Spirit makes my spirit stronger so all the other parts can be healthy, balanced, and working together to stand firm and hold the pressure of life. Find your strength in Him. Let God strengthen your spiritual core and you will see that there is no luck or coincidence in everything else you will achieve and conquer mentally, emotionally and physically.
