“My inspiration for executing the timeless fluidity of the human physique incorporates my admiration for Edgar Degas’ themes as I portray the exquisiteness of the honed control that embodies the freedom of dance and the sensibility, and yet strength, of the body. I embrace influence from the Classical to Art Nouveau, synthesizing the organic of nature with the physical experience of human vivacity as a mirror of our own transcendental existence. Each piece must concur with the observer in a relational intertwine from which meaning and significance emerge with words of its own exposing to the world its own story.”

BIO
Iván Tirado was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, where he also achieved a bachelors degree in humanities in liberal arts in 1998. For many years, art was placed in the back seat, but art will always find its place back into Iván’s life. After achieving a master’s degree in education in instructional design for online learning, Iván began teaching art. Soon after, while pursuing a doctorate degree in education in instructional design for online learning, the passion that was left behind caught up with him. In September 2010, the first opportunity to exhibit his sculptures presented itself. A year after, his sculptures reached from Connecticut and New York, as far as France,  Argentina, London, and Puerto Rico as well as other states of the United States. Iván presented in November 2011 his first solo exhibit, ETHEREAL: A Tribute to Femininity. He is still pursuing his doctorate degree along with his passion for art. In 2012, Iván presents The Concrete Collection: a collection of pieces made of concrete with effects and looks one might never think was possible with this medium.

Hi, Ivan U Have Awesome Works of Art The only Artwork I do is Stain Glass Peaces. But i have never tried sculpting. We met at that Karate Tournment Rhode Island I belong to Team AFA Karate.
I love his art. I’m like him… plus I’m his daughter !
Try to avoid too much ‘transcendental’ verbiage is my advice. It just appears pretentious and ‘naff’ Let your art work do the talking. If OK it will impress more than words.
